Tooth Fairy

The resident Princess lost her first tooth. Actually it's not lost. We went to the dentist and he pulled it out. She fell off the cart at Walmart a while back and her tooth has never been the same since. So the dentist decided it should come out. She was excited! Really. She counted down the days and talked about it constantly.

The pressure was really on the tooth fairy with this one. Apparently one of her friends told her that not only does the tooth fairy leave money, but if you leave her a note, she won't take your tooth. AND (this one's the kicker) if you leave a glass of water out on your dresser the tooth fairy will magically turn the water the same color as her dress. Wah?

I'm SO glad she clued me in when I went in to say prayers with her that night, or I'm afraid the toothfairy would have failed. Miserably. As it was, everyone was happy. And the tooth fairy? She had on an orange dress.

Oh my goodness! You've got a clever little chickadee! I didn't know all those rules rules for the fairy. The fairy at our house usually forgets until morning when the child says they got ripped off and then magically, the money appears while they're going to the restroom.
Ya, she sucks.

Wow! Talk about pressure!

One time, at our house, the tooth fairy feel asleep and forgot to come for KJ's tooth, so we figured she must've had a lot of stops to make that night, and would probably come to visit while KJ was a school.

Man, between the tooth fairy, Santa Clause, and the Easter bunny, I never knew I'd have to lie so much to my kids. It's exhausting!

I hate the tooth fairy...I'm just sayin...she always forgets to come here. Then we have distraught children and have to call her on the phone to remind her to come the next night. Or she hides stuff really well and while the kids are looking for their money in the closet mom magically finds it between the mattress and box spring. I don't know why she has to make my life so difficult.

Thats a new one!! Once the tooth fairy forgot to come and while my daughter was freaking out, my husband distracted her and I chucked a dollar behind her bed and said "oh look, the money fell behind your bed!" All was well after that. Stupid Tooth Fairy.

I had no idea the tooth fairy would do that! Wow. The things you learn while blogging.

Aren't you glad she didn't learn that the tooth fairy leaves 20.00 at some kids' houses?? Really, I could kill some parents!

Sorry my kids will no longer be allowed to look at your blog. The tooth fairy leaves 50 cents at my house.
