Last Friday my oldest had a birthday. If I was on the ball I would have posted about it the day before, or at least the day of. But I'm not. So I didn't.
He's 14. He's taller than me. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Seriously though, he's a great kid. He's a FANTASTIC athlete, a pretty good student and.......he just texted me and asked me to come and pick him up from school because he is going to throw up. Gotta go!
P.S. If he pukes in my car I'm going to take back all the nice things I said about him.

My 12 year old girl is only about 2 inches shorter than me--maybe less. Its a little freaky, huh?
How sweet. My boy is 9 and is almost taller than me. It's not right.
Was he really sick or did he just want to ditch school??? :)
He was really sick. But he stayed the whole day because he didn't want to get behind. When he finally called, it was after his last class and he didn't want to walk home. When I got him home, he went straight to bed. Then later when I went to check on him he was in the bathroom puking.
At least he didn't do it in my car.
And he's ok today.
