I'm in the market for a new camera. (I like to pretend that I can afford one.) I want something a little more advanced than my good old point-and-shoot Sony. I want to stay with digital, but nothing too difficult. My boys play a lot of sports. (Maybe you've noticed.) I want to take "action-shots" that aren't blurry. I want to zoom in a little closer so I can actully see which kid is mine.
Do you have a favorite brand/model/flavor? What's your favorite thing about it? What's your least favorite thing about it? What should I be looking for? Your comments are appreciated. (I need to figure all of this out before I mail my letter to Santa.)

My absolute fav is my Canon Eos 20D. It is professional, but has an auto and is so easy to use. It has different lenses for different distances. Costs around $3000 but is so worth it! Be sure to check Sam's or Costco! They have great cameras at great deals!
I am on the look out for a new camera and want to learn a little photography too. I am looking at the Nikon D40 or D60, both have great reviews (D40 for beginners, not as many megapixels etc). Bad news, they are 600 and 800 dollars. Youch! Anyway perhaps I can buy used or factory reconditioned or sell a kidney.
