I'm still here. But my sanity is not.
I've had several nice comments and emails from friends in the blogosphere (and in real life) asking if I have fallen off the face of the earth.
Not really, but if I don't find my way through this mountain of work you may have to form a search party.
Did someone say Party? That sounds like fun. But there's no time to party because it's the end of the month.
I'm a WAHM (Work at home Mom). Last year I started a small business doing various computer related tasks for other small businesses. I've always looked for something that I could do from home so I am still available to my children. This job/company just sort of "happened". But I am so grateful. I love what I do. I love helping people. I love setting my own schedule. And I love working because it keeps my brain from turning to mush.
That being said, the end of each month never fails to bog me down. There are many tasks and responsibilities that just HAVE to be done at the end of the month and there aren't enough hours in the day (or night, for that matter!).
Something has to give. Unfortunately it usually ends up being my blog. So if you don't see me around, just check your calendar. If the month is coming to a close then I am probably holed up in my office working like a mad woman!
But, rest assured that I am still reading YOUR blog. You make me laugh. You help me relax. You give my tired brain something different to think about.
So thank you for your comments and thank you for missing me!
I assure you, I am still here. I'm afraid that somewhere along the way my sanity seems to have disappeared. But don't worry. I'll be back at the beginning of next month. With or without my sanity!

I wondered but I figured it was just because its baseball season!
Nice to know you haven't fallen off the earth!
And yes, I understand month-end and it SUCKS!
Glad to hear you're doing OK!
Good luck with that! I can relate. Month end for me means bank reconciliations, commission reports and sales tax. ugh!
Good to know that all is okay. I hope that you can get caught up!
I was actually just thinking about you. Glad everything's okay. Other than your missing sanity. I'm not sure if you ever get that back once it leaves, but we can hope.
Glad you are still alive! Hang in there with the mountains of work.
We'll be at RHS May 15th!
Phew, you are so busy! I think it is great you can work from home though, just hang on, first of the month is the end of the week :}
You crack me up. I hear ya on the sanity end though. I don't even have a job, but sanity is definatley something I seem to loose more often that find. It will be good to see you on Saturday!
I've been MIA, too. However, no one seems to give a crap becuase I haven't gotten one inquiry as to my whereabouts.
Yay for Friday! It's May 1st!
Sounds like a really interesting job. Lots of variety. What types of stuff do you do for the businesses?
Hi Veronica! It was great to hear from you! I am actually in Pocatello right now for baseball. You didn't say which team you are, but we are the 14 year old TVBA or Treasure Valley Baseball Academy. If you find out we are at the same park, please say hi! We will be leaving the hotel in about an hour so I be around for a response, but like I said, if you have a chance to check the schedule, do! Thanks for being in touch! Hope to see you!
