This is son #1. He's 14 and has been playing comp baseball for 4 years. As the boys get older their games get more exciting. It's really fun to watch these boys play ball.
But what I REALLY like is watching him pitch! It's a little nerve wracking (makes his dad an absolute basket case) but it's so fun to watch!
In their last game of the tournament, son #1 hit a HOME RUN! Right over the center filed fence! It.was.AWESOME. Then he pitched the last couple innings of the game. We had been down but we came back to win, so he got a "save".
I was one proud mom! (He looks pretty proud too!)
Baseball Quote of the day:
The pitcher has to find out if the hitter is timid. And if the hitter is timid, he has to remind the hitter he's timid.

Woo Hoo!!! on the home run and the win. Very cool. I had a nephew who was a baseball pitcher he loved it.
Way to go Spencer!!
Great job!!! He looks pretty cool out there on the mound!
I don't love baseball, but I'm loving all your baseball quotes. Also, liking all your baseball pics with the new camera.
Go Son #1!!
(2 more days until Wicked!)
I love watching little league baseball. So much more action that the majors!
So much fun. I love all your quotes too.
There is NOTHING like the feeling of a HOME RUN!!! Even if it is vicariously through your son! I imagine that's even better than if it were youself! And love the baseball quote! However, I am ashamed that my Yanks aren't getting off to a better start....
I feel your pain, Melissa! I LOVE baseball!!! What an awesome action shot of him pitching! My best friend's husband pitched in the majors...he does private pitching lessons now, if you're intersted.
I wish I lived closer to you. I'd come watch your boys play. LOVE BASEBALL!
That is fantastic!! WAY TO GO!
I am totally lmao!! All of these pictures are of our team! I am so laughing!!! This must be Mesquite! You don't happen to know Greg Hess do you?
