Dinner: FAIL
"OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DOO
I'VE GOT ANOTHER PUZZLE FOR YOU....."
I forgot to put the chicken in the crockpot this morning. It didn't even cross my mind until about 5:00pm. I had a little panic moment when I thought about dinner.
Never fear, I have a huge bag of blueberries in my freezer. And two more in the deep freeze downstairs. So I pulled one out and we had blueberry muffins AND blueberry pancakes for dinner.
We are all feeling a little like this:
We may all have to be rolled to our beds tonight. And juiced...oh my goodness!
I don't really like blueberries.
Tomorrow I'm going to plan a little better.
BTW: Does anyone besides me think that the Johnny Depp version of Willy Wonka is a tad creepy? Give me Gene Wilder any day.

We have pancakes for dinner all the time around here. In fact my daughter who will be turning seven asked for French Toast for her birthday dinner!
I think blueberry pancakes would have been good with berry smoothies!
Oh, and Gene Wilder is NOT creepy?
Think again.
I happen to love Johnny Depp!!! I agree with Vennesa. Gene Wilder?? He just looks like a pedophile!!
I think Gene Wilder looks like a guy in our old ward growing up, I can't remember his name, I will ask mom. But, that Johnny Depp Willy Wonka, is just plain creepy. My kids are scared of that show.
Mmm...pancakes. Do you know how long it's been since I've had a pancake? I think you get points for actually cooking dinner. I probably would've insisted my husband run to In-N-Out or Costa Vida for me.
I like both movies. I love the original because that's what I grew up with, but I like the Johnny Depp version too. And I think both kind of have creepiness if you think about it...
That's a lot of blueberries!
Now I want pancakes.
Totally with you on the Johnny Depp version. But I have decided he is just creepy all around!
Mmmmm blueberries.....
And Depp is the weirdest. Ever.
And, there is this dude who works on my floor and has a bad orange fake tan and I can't help but sing Oopma-loompah every time we pass.
Do you eat ground beef? I buy it in 5 lb slabs, brown, then divide into 1 lb portions. Fill the bag with water, freeze, and you have cooked ground beef on a moment's notice.
Though blueberry pancakes are much more fun for dinner. Not to mention the antioxidants.
